This Policy applies exclusively to data processed by Verid as part of its Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services that may be accessed through submitted URLs or external links.
Where Users interact with third-party services, including websites analyzed through the Platform, such interactions are governed by the privacy policies of those third parties.
1.3 Applicability across jurisdictions
Verid operates as a global digital service. This Privacy Policy applies to Users worldwide.
Where Personal Data is processed in relation to individuals located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, such processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and related national legislation.
Users located in other jurisdictions acknowledge that their data may be processed in accordance with applicable international data protection frameworks and the terms set out in this Policy.
Verid takes reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Data is handled in a manner consistent with applicable legal requirements, while recognizing the inherently cross-border nature of digital services.
2. Data controller

Users acknowledge that:
Verid does not assume responsibility for the legality or compliance of third-party content accessed through submitted URLs;
Verid does not control the content of external websites analyzed through the Platform;
any Personal Data contained within Public Web Content is processed solely as part of automated analysis initiated by the User.
Where third-party service providers are involved in delivering the Services, such providers may act as processors or independent controllers under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.
